PTFE - Teflon

PTFE is an infusible material and starts to melt in a temperature of 327°C. Due to the uniquely low free surface energy PTFE has good lubrication properties, and furthermore is resistant to chemicals, both organic and non-organic.

APPLICATION FIELDS: linings for chemical equipment, pipes and fittings for equipment operating in extreme conditions, sealing materials, medicine (e.g. implants), parts for pumps and equipment, electrotechnology.
